Joseph H. Robinson, Jr. was destined to be an icon in the foundry business. After all, he walked in the footsteps of Joseph Robinson, Sr.,his entrepreneurial father.

Joe Jr. was instrumental in the growth and success of Robinson Foundry and in the creation of this spin-off company, Robinson Iron. More importantly, he was a great husband, a devoted father (and grandfather) and a trusted friend to many.

Joe Jr. peacefully passed away this week and all of us in the Robinson family and at Robinson Iron mourn his loss.

Joe Jr. was certainly one of a kind. A true definition of a “man’s man”. He believed in hard work, honesty and a firm hand shake. To know Joe was to respect him. He will definitely be missed by his family, friends and by the Alexander City community, which he dearly loved.

Thank you for stopping by to read about one of Robinson Iron’s founders and one of the toughest men you will have ever met.
