Restored Railing
On their march to the sea, General Sherman’s troops shelled this stately structure as it was being built. Following the Civil War, it was repaired, and construction was completed. Time has been another enemy. Recently, Robinson Iron restored the original bronze railing in the Senate and House chambers and modified it to bring it into code compliance.
