The very latest in high tech performance art these functional lampposts in Redwood City, California illuminate the streetscape with an ever changing light show. Made of custom cast aluminum and fitted with some pretty sophisticated fiber optics the entire series of posts can be programmed to create a sequentially running or pulsing light effect in constantly changing colors. As part of a new restaurant/theater district these lampposts provide a drama all their own.
