Featured in Portfolio Fall 2005”, The Old Red Museum of Dallas County History and Culture opened on May 15, 2007 in the newly restored Old Red Courthouse.

A grand cast iron stair now forms the centerpiece of the building and as you can see from these photos it is worthy of its Texas location.

A Grand Design

The Upper Floors

The stair welcomes visitors at the Lobby.

New treads feature the original “Stars of Texas” motif.

Third Floor Landing

Custom wrought panels were crafted to match original remnants.
