The goddess of youth runs to pour nectar into the cups of the gods. Sculpted by the Italian artist Antonio Canova in the early part of the nineteenth century she is portrayed as a young woman wearing a sleeveless dress. Daughter of Zeus and Hera, Hebe married Heracles after he became a god.
